SUMMARY:Tintype Portraits at Grant Cottage Civil War Weekend
DESCRIPTION:How long does it take for my tintype portrait?\n\n\nAbout 15-20 minutes from the time you arrive until one tintype is completed. \n\n\n \n\n\nTips for your tintype portrait session:\n\n\n• Because tintypes are one of a kind positive images\, WORDS on any clothing will appear BACKWARD. \n\n\n• Wear clothing with texture! For example\, a solid black sweater may not show any contrast in your image. LACE tintypes well. A shirt with a pattern or solid shirt and a pattern scarf are also good choices. \n\n\n• Some people wear hats\, others dress in period clothing\, this is not required. \n\n\n• You can see examples of clothing on our website here: https://glensfallsart.com/adk-selfie/\n\n\n• Sometimes it can be difficult for young children and pets to remain still for the image to be made.\n\n\n \n\n\nTAKE ADVANTAGE OF SPECIAL EVENT PRICING!!\n\n\n4×5″ inch tintype on the day of an event is only $45!\n\n\n5×7″ inch tintype is $55. \n\n\n\nYou’ll receive $5 off each additional tintype made on the same day! \nPrices include tax and shipping. \n\n\n \n\n\nEmail Craig to schedule!  tintype@glensfallsart.com\n\n\nMaking tintypes is always weather dependent – no tintypes in the rain or excessively cold temperatures.\n\nShare this:\n Share on Facebook (Opens in new window)\n Facebook\n \n Share on X (Opens in new window)\n X\n \n Share on Tumblr (Opens in new window)\n Tumblr\n \n Share on Pinterest (Opens in new window)\n Pinterest\n \n Share on Reddit (Opens in new window)\n Reddit\n \n Share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)\n WhatsApp\n \n Email a link to a friend (Opens in new window)\n Email
