☞ PUBLIC NOTICE ☜ In the Year of Our Lord Two‑Thousand and Twenty‑Five Sunday, the Seventh of September From the Hour of Noon until the Fourth Hour in the Afternoon

You are most cordially bidden to attend the Forty‑First Annual “Old‑Fashioned Sunday”, a gathering of mirth and edification held gratis for all within our fair community.

The Colonie Town Bands shall discourse music of stirring and melodious character; whilst upon the green may be witnessed sundry exhibitions of traditional arts and labors:

  • The deft hand of the sheep‑shearer
  • The ringing anvil of the blacksmith
  • The precise craft of the tinsmith
  • The rare and wondrous making of tintypes
  • The weaving of cloth and the spinning of thread
  • The delicate strokes of the tole‑painter
  • The shaping of baskets from humble reed
  • And the gallant display of the 125th Regiment

Mr. Craig Murphy, of Glens Falls Art, shall be in attendance with his portable apparatus, there to fashion likenesses by the genuine wet‑plate collodion process of the 19th Century.

Come forth and secure your image in silver upon metal, to endure for generations hence.
