Great North American Eclipse watch events happening in Warren County NY and beyond!
Excitement is brewing in the Adirondack region as residents and visitors gear up for the rare Total Solar Eclipse on April 8.
The eclipse will pass through western and northern New York. This includes Lake Placid, North Creek, Plattsburgh and Tupper Lake. While anticipation grows, authorities are urging eye safety.
Limited-edition I LOVE NY eclipse glasses will be distributed at 30 locations statewide, including New York State Welcome Centers and select service areas along the NYS Thruway. These glasses are approved by health authorities for safe viewing.
In addition to purchasing glasses at NYS thruway stops, legitimate eclipse glasses and handheld solar viewers can be purchased online by clicking here. For more safety tips, visit the I LOVE NY eclipse website at iloveny.com/eclipse.
